 PROGRAM SUBMISSION / DROP-OFF

You may submit programs in the same way as you always have by mail or in person to: 

Open Stage Media 432 State Street Schenectady, NY 12305
Programs can be dropped off  at Proctors reception, on the 2nd Floor.

 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday 

 

Please fill out any forms provided completely. New producers must bring with ID or other proof of residency of Schenectady County.

Open Stage Media no longer accepts VHS or other tape formats for playback. DVD only at this point, with other digital file format support planed in the near future. Also, OSM no longer returns media. DO NOT drop off program masters. Submitted program materials are digitized into our servers and the media is discarded. Please contact OSM staff if you are a "legacy" producer and have special circumstances that prevent you from meeting these requirements.

 

DVD SPECIFICATIONS

DVD's dropped off for submission must meet the following specifications.

-NTSC standard

-one DVD per show(no multiple shows on one disc)

-no menus on disc

-one title per DVD

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

 

We are accepting Public Service Announcements (PSA) from non-profit organizations and to promote free events in and around Schenectady County. OSM must receive submitted PSA's at least 10 days prior to listed event. Public Service Announcements will appear at various times throughout the day on Channel 16. We are accepting Public Service Announcements with the following specifications:

  • JPEG format
  • 720 X 480 pixels
  • font size no smaller than 30
  • get creative, please include a picture if applicable
  • include the who,what,when and where of your event
  • no more than 8 lines of text
  • please observe title safe dimensions
